About the Count Business Days Between Dates
Enter a start and end date. OmniWhen counts the business days (Monday–Friday), weekend days (Saturday and Sunday) and total calendar days inclusive of both endpoints, plus the percentage of the range that falls on weekdays.
Use for billable-day reports, timesheet auditing, or planning workloads across periods.
How it works
The calculator iterates through every calendar day from start to end inclusive, classifying each as Monday–Friday or Saturday–Sunday. It reports both totals plus the percentage of the range that falls on weekdays. Both endpoints are included in the count.

Frequently asked questions
Are public holidays counted as business days?
Yes — this calculator excludes only Saturday and Sunday. For region-specific holidays, manually subtract them from the result.
Are both endpoints included?
Yes. The range "Mar 1 to Mar 1" has 1 day, not 0.
How does it handle very long ranges?
Performance is fine for centuries-long ranges; the iteration is light.
